From question paper to published result
Everything an exam section does, in the order it does it.
- 1
Set the paper
Multiple-choice and written questions, sections, negative marks, from your question bank. Choose recorded or live proctoring.
- 2
Invite candidates
Import a sheet or let them register from a link. Admit cards with a QR code, and WhatsApp invites and reminders.
- 3
Check in
Candidates open the Windows exam app: computer check, consent, ID card and face match. Proctors approve anything unclear.
- 4
Write
One question at a time, palette, mark for review. Answers save as they go and survive a dropped connection.
- 5
Mark
MCQs mark themselves. Written answers, typed or photographed from paper, are marked on screen, blind or by two examiners.
- 6
Publish
Release results when you're ready. Candidates see their score and the answer key; you see how every question performed.
Proctoring that holds up
The exam runs in a locked-down Windows app, not a browser tab. It checks the computer, matches the face to the ID card on the device, records camera and screen, and flags a second face, a phone or a voice for a proctor to look at.
- Live proctoring with warnings, pause and end
- Recorded proctoring with a review queue
- Blocks other apps, extra monitors and virtual machines
- Proctors share the load: candidates are split between them
Calm for candidates
Candidates sign in with their mobile number and exam code, in English or ಕನ್ನಡ. The exam screen is the one they know from computer-based tests, and nothing they write is lost to a bad connection.
- One click from the website opens the app, already signed in
- Answers keep saving offline and send when the line is back
- Handwritten answers: photograph each page with a phone
- Admit card, result and answer review on their exam page

Written answers, marked on screen
Scripts go to evaluators automatically. They see the typed answer or the phone photos page by page, mark each question, and the total stays hidden until you publish.
- Blind marking: script numbers instead of names
- Second evaluation, averaged within tolerance, wider gaps to the chief examiner
- Question-wise marking across evaluators
- Results export to Excel

- Face matching on the computer
- ID and face are compared on the candidate's computer; faces aren't sent to an outside service.
- Sessions you can end
- Every sign-in is a server-side session: signing out, or an admin ending it, takes effect at once. One device per candidate.
- Roles
- Admins, proctors and evaluators each see their own part. Evaluators see only the scripts given to them.
Questions
What do candidates need?
A Windows 10 or 11 computer with a webcam and microphone, and an internet connection; a phone hotspot is enough. Exams without proctoring also run in any browser.
Can we use it without proctoring?
Yes. Proctoring is set per exam: off, recorded, or live.
What happens if the internet drops during an exam?
The candidate keeps answering. Answers are kept on the computer and sent as soon as the connection is back; the clock and submission are handled on the server.
How are handwritten answers handled?
Candidates write on paper and photograph each page with their phone by scanning a QR code on the exam screen. Evaluators mark the pages on screen.
Which languages are supported?
The candidate site, the exam app and the console are in English and Kannada.
Can candidates register themselves?
Yes, from an invite link you open for an exam, or you import them from a sheet.
